PATENT ATTORNEYS

KOHNO Takao was born in Osaka in 1943,
and graduated from KYOTO University in 1966 where he majored in Electrical Engineering. He then worked for the research and development section of an electrical manufacturing company and later joining a law firm.
In 1976 he was admitted to practice patent laws, and established KOHNO PATENT OFFICE.

He is :

KOHNO Takao also acted as Editor for books(#3) and (#5).

KOHNO Hideto was born in Osaka in 1972. He graduated from RITSUMEIKAN University in 1996 where he majored in Electric and Electronic Engineering, and received a M.S. degree in Information System Technology. Since 1998,he has worked in KOHNO PATENT OFFICE. He has become a qualified Patent Attorney since November 1999. In 2003, he spent a year at Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, LLP, which is located in Falls Church, Virginia. He also studied U.S. IP law at Franklin Pierce Law Center, which is located in Concord, New Hampshire, and received Master of Intellectual Property degree in 2005. He has a qualification for Representation for Infringement Litigations. In 2007, he had studied Chinese IP Law at Tsinghua University, which is located in Beijing . ----------------------------------------------------

OKADA Mitsuhiro was born in Osaka in 1973.
He majored in law in KANSAI University from which he graduated in 1995.
Then he also majored in Information Processing System in Osaka Institute
of Technology and graduated in 2006.
He has become a qualified Patent Attorney and has become a member of
KOHNO PATENT OFFICE since 2000.
He has a qualification for Representation for Infringement Litigations.

NOGUCHI Tomihiro　was born in Wakayama in 1953.
He majored in electrical engineering in Osaka Prefecture University and
graduated in 1976. After he worked for an electrical company,
he joined IBM Japan, Ltd. in 1982.
He became a qualified Patent Attorney and a member of KOHNO
PATENT OFFICE in February 2003.
He has a qualification for Representation for Infringement Litigations.

HIROTA Yuri　was born in Osaka,
She majored in food science and technology in Kyoto University.
After graduating the university, she worked for
NOF CORPORATION.
She became a member of KOHNO PATENT OFFICE in March 1990.
She has a qualification for Representation for Infringement Litigations.

ARAI Kagechika was born in Tokushima in 1978.
He majored in mechanical engineering in Okayama University
from which he graduated in 2002.
He became a qualified Patent Attorney in November 2005.
He became a member of KOHNO PATENT OFFICE in 2005.
He has a qualification for Representation for Infringement Litigations.

YASUDA Kei was born in Osaka in 1976.
He majored in Physics in Osaka City University and graduated in 2000.
Then he received a master’s degree in Physics from Graduate School
of Science, Kyoto University in 2003.
Since he graduated from the University in 2003 he has become
a member of KOHNO PATENT OFFICE.
He became a qualified Patent Attorney in 2006.

YAGI Mayu was born in Tokyo in 1977.
She received B.S., M.S. degrees in Physical Science at Osaka University.
After she worked as a software programmer,
she became a member of KOHNO PATENT OFFICE in January 2006.
She became a qualified Patent Attorney in November 2006.

OOHORI Tamio was born in Oita Prefecture in 1947.
He majored in physics in Kyushu University and graduated in 1970.
After that, he acquired experiences and refined work skills
in RICHO Japan, S. Kitamura Patent Office, and Hosokawa Micron.
He became a qualified patent attorney in 2001.
He became a member of KOHNO PATENT OFFICE in 2007.

OTAKE Yasutomo was born in Nara in 1951.
He majored in electronics in Kyoto University and graduated in 1974.
After graduation, he worked for an electrical company,
Mitsubishi Electric.
Then, he became a member of KOHNO PATENT OFFICE in December
2006 and a qualified Patent Attorney in November 2007.
