KOHNO Hideto
 
KOHNO Hideto
He graduated from RITSUMEIKAN University in 1996
where he majored in Electric and Electronic Engineering,
and received a M.S. degree in Information System Technology.
Since 1998,he has worked in KOHNO & KOHNO.
He has become a qualified Patent Attorney since November 1999.
In 2003, he spent a year at Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, LLP,
which is located in Falls Church, Virginia.
He also studied U.S. IP law at Franklin Pierce Law Center,
which is located in Concord, New Hampshire,
and received Master of Intellectual Property degree in 2005.
In 2007, he had studied Chinese IP Law at Tsinghua University,
which is located in Beijing .
In 2010, he spent a few months at Beijing Tongdaxinheng Intellectual
Property Agency Ltd. as a trainee in China.
He also served as a professional counselor of Tokyo Metropolitan Intellectual Property Center in 2011, and served as a partner of Japan IT Partner Associate in 2012.
He served as a specialist of the comprehensive intellectual property support desk in Iwate prefecture in 2014.
He took Fintech certificate course at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2016.
He has successfully completed the executive program "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2018.
Since 2020, he has served as a professional counselor of Tokyo Metropolitan Intellectual Property Center for supporting obtaining intellectual properties in the field of AI × data.
He was a member of Intellectual property subcommittee, Industrial Structure Council in 2023.
He has a qualification for Representation for Infringement Litigations.
He is a member of AIPPI and APAA.

NOGUCHI Tomihiro
He majored in electrical engineering in Osaka Prefecture University and
graduated in 1976. After he worked for an electrical company,
he joined IBM Japan, Ltd. in 1982.
He became a qualified Patent Attorney and a member of KOHNO
PATENT OFFICE in February 2003.
He has a qualification for Representation for Infringement Litigations.
He is a member of AIPPI.


ARAI Kagechika
 
ARAI Kagechika
He majored in mechanical engineering in Okayama University
from which he graduated in 2002.
He became a qualified Patent Attorney in November 2005, and
a member of KOHNO & KOHNO in the same year.
He has qualifications for Representation for Infringement Litigations,
and for Applied Information Technology Engineer.


YASUDA Kei
 
YASUDA Kei
He majored in Physics in Osaka City University and graduated in 2000.
Then he received a master's degree in Physics from Graduate School
of Science, Kyoto University in 2003.
Since he graduated from the University in 2003 he has become
a member of KOHNO & KOHNO.
He became a qualified Patent Attorney in 2006.
He has a qualification for Representation for Infringement Litigations.
In 2013, he spent a few months studying Indian IP law at Remfry & Sagar and CIP LEGIT Intellectual Property Counsels as a trainee in India.

She received B.S., M.S. degrees in Physical Science at Osaka University.
After she worked as a software programmer,
she became a member of KOHNO & KOHNO in January 2006.
She became a qualified Patent Attorney in November 2006.
She has a qualification for Representation for Infringement Litigations.


SUN Jiao
 
SUN Jiao
She majored in physics and plasma physics in Dalian University of
Technology, and then, graduated in 2005. She became a qualified
Chinese patent Attorney in 2007. After she worked and acquired
experience at two patent firms in China, she became a member of
KOHNO & KOHNO in 2010.

She received B.S., M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering Science at Tokyo Institute of Technology.
After graduating the university, she worked for OLYMPUS Corporation.
She became a qualified Patent Attorney in November 2011.

He graduated from KYOTO University in 1966 where he majored in Electrical Engineering. He then worked for the research and development section of an electrical manufacturing company and later joining a law firm.
In 1976 he was admitted to practice patent laws, and established KOHNO & KOHNO

He is :
  former Manager of Kinki Branch of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA)
  former Executive Director of the JPAA
  former Vice President of the JPAA
  former Chairman of the JPAA, Software Committee
  former member of arbitration board of Osaka district court
  one-time Specially appointed Professor of Osaka University, now, advisor of Intellectual Property
  qualified for Representation for Infringement Litigations
  member of AIPPI, APAA and FICPI.

He is a co-author of the following books;
